Producing Album...

Earlier today I was offered my first real producing gig from another artist! Pretty exciting, I know. We will start this weekend, and I will be working with the artist and getting some things down in the studio. I'm really excited about this, especially because it is a different genre than I would normally deal with! It will be an adventure and definitely a good experience for me. Now what genre is it you might be asking? It's Rap and R&B. I know, I know, you're thinking to yourself right now that I'm white and I have no rhythm or flow, but you are wrong! I know music, and have worked with it enough, and am very versatile. Can't wait to get some tracks down and get some music out there to not only show you all my ability as a producer, but also for you to hear this awesome artist that I am working with! I'm looking forward to dealing with him, and collaborating just some different ideas. We are also going to make a few YouTube videos and post them on my music channel to further push this artist and get him out there! Jeremiah Curtsinger is the artist I am going to be producing. His rhymes are sick, and his lyrics will grasp ahold of not only you yourself, but to your soul and change you. Again, I am excited to start working with him! Stick around for more details, and check out my youtube channel to see some updates! Might even make a video to give you all a little sneak peak of what's to come! Family Tree!

Alright, so here's some pretty spectacular info that I have researched and found out! Going up my mothers side of the family, Honey's (my grandmother) grandparents were named Sally and Ed Reed. Here's a picture of them and one of there daughters Gertrude, which would by my grandmothers aunt.
Now hang in there with me, cause this is where it gets cool. So Ed, which his full name is, Thomas Edward Reed, was born in 1867. His father who was Joseph H. Read, had changed his name and the spelling of the last name to, James Madison Reed, giving the new spelling of Reed. Now I took a look back into the family origin names and meanings, and Read comes from the word Red or Ruddy.. Which was used as a term for a red-headed person. With that being said... The Reads came from Scotland and Ireland, and apparently many of them had red hair! So now I know where I got it from. I know who I am now. I am a ruddy, and proud to be one! I'm one crazy FC! haha

Softball Champions!

Well, we did it! It was a rough first game, but we pulled through and arose victorious. This season was a great one. We only lost one game during the whole season. Ended up number 1 seed for the whole league.
There was only one injury in the first game that we played tonight, but it all ended up good in the end. Some emotions ran high as well once we were marked as the winners of the first game, but we managed to keep ourselves focused and pulled through for the second game. As men, we can sometimes get caught up in things, especially something that you are dedicated to and love doing. It's all about Him though. We have to remind ourselves that about everything that we do. All in all, we held ourselves together, and pushed for the victory. Softball Champions of 2011. We did it.
Here's also a pic of the most awesome strawberry I got on my hip from sliding into second. Almost lost my shorts on the slide. haha

The Beginning

Welcome to a journey into my life as I know it. It may not always seem like the greatest, but I sure am blessed. There has been many events that have taken place in my life. Some have only impacted little, while others have literally changed my way of thinking. No, nothing has happened here recently that has changed me tremendously... well, besides that one thing.. but you will just have to keep a close eye on what is soon to come.
Now normally you would think that this is strange and extraneous to be broadcasting different events in your life to complete strangers, and you are completely right. That is exactly why I'm doing it. It is a chance to get out whatever is on my mind for someone to read or not to read, for someone to take heart to or just disregard. Whatever the situation may be, I will continue to do so. Writing and reading is something that not many will admit they like doing, but I know you are constantly on Facebook or Twitter reading and writing post after post. Whether you like it or not, you are doing it. So why not just read this? Trust me, it will be worth your time.... at least most of the time.
